# How to setup local passcode

**Step 1**: Access the VLINKPAY application.

**Step 2:** Select **Setting** from the main menu and then select **Passcode Setting**

**Step 3**: On the Create Passcode screen, enter a preferred passcode consisting of 6 digits.

**Step 4**: Re-enter the passcode in the **Confirm Passcode** field and select **Submit**.

**Step 5:** The system will notify you that you have successfully created the **Passcode**. Select **OK**.

After setting up the Passcode, each time you exit the application, the system will prompt you to enter the **Passcode** when you want to access it again.
